ONLY A FEW DAYS TO LIVE...

Chelladurai gazed lovingly at his mother. She was seriously ill, and doctors had given her only a few days to live. “Why is this happening to our family?” Chelladurai wondered. “Are the gods angry with us?” Even the family’s earnest pleas brought no answer from their gods. Yet Chelladurai hoped for a miracle. “It could happen,” he thought. Meanwhile, Chelladurai’s father invited several pastors to come and pray for his ailing wife. The family rejoiced at what took place next. “The sincere prayers of godly men were answered by the Lord as my mother completely recovered,” Chelladurai said. Through this miracle each family member’s eyes were opened to a faith so different from the rituals that had failed to bring them lasting peace. They wanted to know and serve this Jesus, the living God. “We forsook our barren rituals and started worshipping the almighty God,” Chelladurai said. “This gave life true meaning.” Growing in his new faith, Chelladurai heard God’s call to reach lost souls for His Kingdom and eagerly enrolled at a GFA Bible College to prepare for full-time ministry in his native India.
