A TOUGH QUESTION

Have you faced difficulties in your life? This is a question to which I think we can all answer “Yes.”
But do you know how to overcome those difficulties in a way in which you can grow spiritually, knowing the Lord better than before?
In every trial, choose to look at it as a test from the Lord. When we face problems, instead of asking, “What is going on in my life?” we can recognize it as an opportunity from the Lord to become stronger.
Although our flesh doesn't like it, suffering is granted to us if we choose to live a godly life and serve the Lord. It is not only for the missionaries on the mission field. This is a gift to every believer!
When it says in 1 Peter 3:17-18 that Jesus suffered for us and that we must follow in His footsteps, it is not just talking about the cross. It's talking about His life, His daily choice to endure inconveniences and difficulties in order to do the Father's will, not His own.
I am personally convinced that if someone's Christianity is shallow, it is mainly because the cross is missing from their faith and they don't want suffering and sleepless nights. But it is here that we can miss the precious opportunity our God is putting before us. If you are given the opportunity to embrace suffering, please do it.
How can we endure? By walking in humility. It is a sure means to receive God's grace. He gives grace to the humble but opposes the proud.
My friend, just as God is moving mightily in Asia, He can move mightily in your heart! He wants to know you just as He longs to know the millions of lost souls.
I encourage you to trust Him fully, and you will see and experience great and wonderful things!
