JESUS WILL BUILD HIS CHURCH |

Take note of what Jesus said: "And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." (Matt. 16:18). |

After reading this Scripture, I asked myself, "Where is that Church today?" People need an example to follow and I’m wondering where the example of this Church is. I’ve come to the conclusion that there isn’t one!
I then realised that big congregations might not even have been built by God, but by man! Men have tried to build God’s church by using all kinds of gimmicks, human methods and procedures to attract people. Even anointed guest speakers are invited, but to no avail! The Church is still weak, many times sinful and powerless to deal with the problems of our day. I believe many ministers are tired, drained and discouraged because they tried to build God’s Church in own strength. But Jesus said: "I will build it." And the Church He will build will prevail and overcome all darkness! It will become a Kingdom of righteousness and honour unto the Lord and all peoples will be blessed through its power, truth and relevance. I believe it is the time for every Christian to rise up and seek God, worship Him, praise Him and serve Him with all of their hearts. We need to become God-fearing, holy, righteous and live lives that are filled with the Holy Spirit. We must conquer and prevail against all evil. Let us humble ourselves and return to the Lord! Let us become a Church alive with the power and love of God! This will glorify and honour His Name. Lord Jesus, build Your Church! |
