A NEW SEASON IS COMING

Pastor Bill Marks, Christian Fellowship, Potchefstroom, (018) 293 1608 or 082 260 5965 While spending some quiet time in the Presence of the Lord, I heard Him speak a prophetic word to me for 2006: "A New Season is coming!" I also received an SMS on 21 November: "Don't let one SEASON'S pain destroy the joy of the rest. Don't judge life by a difficult season. Persist through difficult patches and better times are sure to come." Eccl. 3:1 - "To everything there is a SEASON and a time to every purpose under the heaven". We constantly need the ongoing, immediate Rhema Word of God to regularly operate through us. Isaiah 50:4 says: "The Lord God hath given me the tongue of the learned that I should know how to speak a word in SEASON to him that is weary". Towards the end of a World Evangelism Minister's Meeting, the ministers sensed the Presence of God and one of the men shouted - "YES!" That was the only word he said, but it ran like an electric current through the room. Can God do everything? YES! Can your unsaved children be saved? YES! Can God perform the impossible? YES! Man says it can't be done, God says it can be done. YES! Does Jesus still heal people today? YES! Is Jesus Christ the same - yesterday, today and tomorrow? YES! The Holy Spirit was saying to them - I CAN DO IT! The Lord is saying that He has prepared you for a New Season. You need to daily read and meditate on God's Word, over and over again in your mind and spirit. Ps. 1:2-3 - "Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in His law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper". There is a divine flow of God's communica-tion. From the Father to the Son, to the Holy Spirit. To us. John 5:19 - "The Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He seeth the Father do." John 16:15 - "All things that the Father hath are Mine: Therefore said I that He shall take of Mine and show it unto you." God speaks to us because He created us to have a relationship with Him and communication is an essential part of any relationship. GOD IS A GOD WHO SPEAKS! Hearing God's Voice will allow you to live and walk in His will for your life (2 Timothy 1:9). I was invited to minister at a Men's Camp. When I was driving home, I saw a man walking along the road, waving for me to stop the car. I chatted to him for a while and then left. Two weeks ago I met this man again and he said to me, "Do you remember what you said to me?" I said, "No." He said, "You spoke these words to me: 'There is a NEW SEASON coming for you'." At the time I had spoken these words to him, he was still employed in the secular world. Praise God! He is now in full-time ministry! Song of Solomon 2:10-13 says: "My beloved spoke, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away. For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land; The fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell.
