OPENING THE DOORS OF HEAVEN

He said that He is going to OPEN DOORS of opportunity for us and that our nation shall be a DOORWAY to Africa. In Isaiah 45:1 the Lord anointed Cyrus, a great king of Persia for a divine task, to subdue nations before Him and loose the armour of kings, to OPEN before Him the DOUBLE DOORS, so that the gates would not be shut. Verse 2: “The Lord said to Cyrus, ‘I will go before you.’” This gave him the assurance to be a conqueror. Verse 3: “And I will give you the treasures of darkness.” The treasures were the spoil, which they retrieved in times of war and by controlling the Egyp-tian trade routes. Verse 4: “For Jacob my ser-vant's sake, and Israel my elect, I have even called you by your name.” Genesis 28:10-22: At Bethel Jacob lay his head down on a stone and dreamed of angels ascending and descending on a ladder. Bethel means the House of God, for it is when we seek God that HEAVEN’S DOORS will open up for us. Matthew 6:6 - The OPEN DOOR of Privacy: “But when you pray, go into your room and when you have shut your DOOR, pray to your heavenly Father, who is in the secret place and your Father who sees you in secret, will reward you OPENLY.” Isaiah 45:5,6,7: “I am the Lord and there is no other. I, the Lord do all these things. I am Yahweh, Yahweh Elohim the Lord God of Israel, who is a faithful covenant God.” Verse 8: “Rain down, you heavens from above and let the skies pour down righteous-ness. Let the earth OPEN, let them bring forth SALVATION and let RIGHTEOUSNESS spring up together. I the Lord, have created it.” This speaks to us of ABUNDANCE. How do we break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron? Matthew 6:25: Jesus says: “Do not worry.” Worry is sinful, a robber of faith, peace, truth, and let you live like an orphan without a heavenly Father. Matthew 6:33: “Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto you.” How will all these things be added unto you? By accepting Christ as your Saviour and living out God's Word through righteous acts. Matthew 6:3: “Give alms to the poor.” Giving should be volun-tary, not a duty which we perform. We give because we love the Lord. Giving in itself is grace. Generous giving is proof of our love for God (2 Cor. 9:7). Matthew 6:14: “Forgive men their trespasses.” THIS OPENS HEAVEN'S DOORS FOR US. Matthew 6:15: “When you fast, anoint your head and wash your face with water.” Isaiah 45:13: “I have raised him up in righteousness and to let my exiles go free.” The climax of Cyrus’ reign was the release of Israel to prosper.
