SEEK GOD'S PRESENCE

Where can I flee from Your PRESENCE?” The closer two persons are in any relationship, the more they experience each other's PRESENCE. During the Korean War in the early 50s the Chinese Communists made use of a technique called “Brainwashing” in their prison-camps. They isolated the POWs and sought to remove everything from which the POWs could draw support. The result was that 3 000 battle-hardened soldiers lay down on their beds, pulled the blankets over their heads and died. There was no known cause for their deaths, except that they "lost the will to live". We were made to be dependent on one another. In Ex. 33:13-14, Moses said: “Now therefore, I pray, if I have found grace in Your sight, show me now Your way, that I may know You and that I may find grace in Your sight. And consider that this nation is Your people.” And He said, “My PRESENCE will go with you, and I will give you rest.” Ps. 51:11 - “Do not cast me away from Your PRESENCE and do not take Your Holy Spirit away from me.” As you daily read your Bible and pray, you will be revitalized by the refreshing PRESENCE of God. Deut. 4:36-37 - “Out of heaven He let you hear His voice, that He might instruct you; on earth He showed you His great fire, and you heard His words out of the midst of the fire. “And because He loved your fathers, therefore He chose their descendants after them; and He brought you out of Egypt with His PRESENCE, with His mighty power .” Ps. 22:6 - “You have made him exceedingly glad with Your PRESENCE.” Ps. 31:20 - “You shall hide them in the secret place of Your PRESENCE from the plots of man; You shall keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.” Ps. 100:2 - “Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His PRESENCE with singing.” Isaiah 63:9 - “In all their affliction He was afflicted, and the Angel of His PRESENCE saved them; in His love and in His pity He redeemed them; and He bore them and carried them all the days of old.” Jude 24-25 - “Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the PRESENCE of His glory with exceeding joy, to God our Saviour, Who alone is wise, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever.
