A WAKE-UP CALL | |
  |
Susan du Preez I want to share the vision that I had early this morning (25 April 2006). I was in a church meeting. We were singing and all of a sudden an angel appeared in front of us. Three of us (I was sitting in the middle), sat down and bowed with our hands in front of our eyes because of the presence of the angel. The congregation looked at us disdainfully. They were still singing a hymn of praise. It was as if they did not see the angel in the church. Suddenly a man from the back shouted, “There is an angel of God in this place!” The next moment black stones started to fall like hail inside the church. As soon as the stones reached the floor they turned into fire. I then ran outside the church to see if the same thing was happening outside. The air was full of black stones that were pouring down like rain. I then ran back into the church and some people were trying to pick up the stones that were falling on the floor. Their hands were burnt as soon as they touched the stones. A voice said: “This is the last minute!” The strange thing about the vision was that only four people - in a church filled with many people - could see the angel. The rest of the congregation continued as usual, without noticing anything out of the ordinary. Their spiritual eyes were not open. We are living in the last days where God is going to pour out His Spirit upon all flesh. Sons and daughters shall prophesy, men shall dream dreams and young men shall see visions. There shall be a mighty release of the Holy Spirit - a release of supernatural power. However, be ready because “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed” (1 Corinthians 15:52). This is an urgent Wake-up Call to the Church and the entire nation to prepare our hearts for the coming of the King of kings. We have to repent (turn away from sinful living) and clean our hearts and minds from evil thoughts. We must keep our eyes fixed on Jesus Who has already paid with His blood on the cross of Calvary more than 2 000 years ago for you and me. On the Cross Jesus dealt with our sins, illnesses and bondage. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). God loves the sinner but hates sin. We cannot look at men for our salvation or freedom but only at Jesus, the Son of God. The Lord wants your heart; He wants more of your time. He wants a personal relationship with you. The only way to come to God is through His Son, Jesus Christ. He is the Door to enter in. He is the only true answer for all our needs. If you want to live in the right relationship with God, confess your sins to Him. Acknowledge that you are a sinner. Believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for your sins and that He was raised from the dead. Receive Him as your personal Saviour. Prayerfully seek a local church that will assist you in growing as Christian by the solid teaching of the Bible. |
