WHAT IS GOD LIKE?

Rev. 4:1-2 - "After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne." Bible writers not only stated that God has a Body, but they also testified that they had seen Him with their natural eyes. Abraham made a dinner for God and two angels, and they actually ate food. (Gen. 18:1-8). The Bible predicts that all the redeemed will see God's face with their eyes (Greek: ‘proso-pon’ meaning countenance and outward appearance). Rev. 7:9 - "After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands.” GOD HAS A SOUL Heb. 10:38 - "…My soul has no pleasure in him…” GOD HAS A SPIRIT The Bible teaches that unsaved men do not have God's Spirit in them. Rom. 8:9 - "But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his." Through the New Birth you receive God's Spirit by accept-ing Christ as your Saviour. John 3:3 - "Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
