RESTORING THE SHEPHERDS

He tells us just enough to believe what He says. 1 Samuel 16:1-3 ~ “The Lord said to Samuel, “Fill your horn with oil, and be on your way. I am sending you to Jesse of Bethlehem. I have chosen one of his sons to be king. I will show you what to do. You are to anoint for Me the one I indicate.” God could have said to Samuel, “Go down to the house of Jesse and anoint David as king.” Seven of the sons of Jesse passed before Samuel. In verse 7, God says to Samuel, “Do not look at the outer appearance but look at the heart.” Verse 11-12 ~ “Jesse sent for David and when he arrived the Lord said to Samuel, ‘Arise and anoint him, he is the one.’” In December the Lord elaborated, “A NEW SEASON IS COMING, A SEASON OF BLESSING.” Ezekiel 34:26b ~ “I will send down showers in season, there shall be showers of blessing.” Daniel W. Whittle wrote the song: “There shall be showers of blessing This is the promise of love There shall be seasons of refreshing Sent from the Saviour above ...” God said to Israel, “I will bless you with the Autumn rains which signal the beginning of the rainy season and the Spring rains which come at the end.” BLESSINGS ARE SYMBOLIZED BY THE LIFE-GIVING EFFECT OF RAIN Our country has been so blessed with a wonderful rain season, which has caused the water levels to increase. Water is also being absorbed into the roots of trees and plants; thus feeding the branches and producing life. I believe that God is going to restore His shepherds: not only men who are in the ministry, but fathers as well. It is important for you to daily feed your spirit with the Word of God and pray for revelation knowledge. Mark 4:8 ~ “It came and grew and produced a crop 30, 60 and 100 fold.” Begin to have an expectation for your life! Also live in honesty. Psalm 78:72 ~ “And David shepherded them with integrity of heart.” Integrity means honesty. Mark Twain added, “FORGIVENESS IS THE FRAGRANCE THAT THE FLOWER LEAVES ON THE HEEL OF THE ONE WHO CRUSHED IT.” Let us walk in forgiveness. FORGIVENESS PROVIDES A REFRESHING SHOWER It allows us to serve God freely and wholeheartedly. God in His glory is preparing a greater blessing for you. He has better things in store for you, which is far beyond anything you could think or ask. He has promised: A NEW SEASON OF BLESSING! Numbers 23:19 ~ “God is not a man that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said and will He not do? Or has He spoken and will He not make it good?” Begin to believe He is going to restore you. Pray it into being and live as if it is already in existence. God is the One Who blesses, Who gives the capacity for living a rich and full life. SHEPHERDS, ARISE AND BE INSTRUMENTS OF BLESSING! WALK IN OBEDIENCE BY FAITH.
