ENTER INTO THE OPEN DOOR: JESUS!

The current war in the Middle East does not only involve tanks and rockets, but it is a war against Hamas, which is a Terrorist Organization. It is actually a spiritual war (a war against the spirit of Jihad) that is anti-Christ. In Eph. 6:17 we read that we must put on the “helmet of salvation”. Before you go riding on a motorcycle you need to put on a helmet for protection. Each one of us, who have been called into the Army of God, needs to put on the “Helmet of Salvation” so as to protect us from the deception of the enemy. In Gen. 3:3 the Lord said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me and Iate it.” The Lord had previously told Adam that if he ate from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, he would surely die (Gen. 2:17). The serpent told Eve in Gen. 3:4 to take a bite from the fruit. He added that she won't die. The serpent implied that God was a liar, He could not be trusted and His Word was not true. The Hebrew word for “truth” is “emet”. It refers to something that is true, real, dependable and powerful. The ULTIMATE TRUTH is the Bible, the Living Word of God! In 2 Timothy 3:6-17 we read: “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteous-ness so that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” So, we must take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God (Eph. 7:17) and use these in our everyday life. Knowledge of the Bible is our protection against the schemes of the Devil, for it overcomes the power of his lies! The aim of warfare is to disarm and defeat the enemy. Operation “Cast Lead” by Israel was to put an end to the flow of arms which had been supplied to Hamas, by cutting off the smuggling routes from below Egypt. Satan directs his lies to your mind so that it becomes a battlefield where the war between the truth of God and the lies of Satan is fought. When you apply truth from the Word of God, you sever the lies and negative thoughts coming into your mind. So do not believe Satan's lies! In Philippians 4:13 we read: “I can do all things through Christ, Who strengthens me.” THIS IS TRUTH! Colossians 3:9-10 states: “So as your mind begins to be renewed by the Word of God, it will then agree with the salvation in your spirit.” In John 8:32 Jesus said, “You will know the truth and the truth will set you free.” Jesus said to the woman who was caught in the act of adultery (John 8:10-11), “‘Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?’ ‘No one, sir,’ she said. ‘Then neither do I condemn you,’ Jesus declared. ‘Go now and leave your life of sin.’” She no more felt guilty of her sin. THIS IS TRUTH! Truth brings order to our lives and order brings peace. So, take the sword of the Spirit, release it through your mouth and overcome the negative giants in your mind! Remember Revelation 19:15 - “Out of His mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. He will rule them with an iron sceptre.” JESUS IS THE KING OF KINGS AND THE LORD OF LORDS!
