CONSISTENCY IS THE KEY!

Pastor Matthew Hagee "I have set the Lord always before me; because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved" (Psalms 16:8). From the perspective of the natural world there is a lot of uncertainty. Uncertainty about the economy, uncertainty about terrorism, uncertainty about the price of oil, uncertainty about everything - from the Bird Flu to Iran’s nuclear capabilities. From the perspective of the supernatural we have never been more certain that Jesus is coming back! I am often asked what I think Christians should do in these very volatile days ahead. My response is, "Consistency is the key." I feel the way for us to be effective in these uncertain times is to let the world see that we are not moved by what we see, hear or read, but that we are moved by the anointing of the Holy Spirit through the Power of God. Let the world worry about the economy... Philippians 4:19, "My God shall supply all of my needs according to His riches in glory." Let the world worry about the Bird Flu... Psalm 91:7 "A thousand may fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not come near you." Let the world waste its days worrying about what cannot be changed... As for me and my house I choose the words of King David in Psalm 16:8, "I have set the Lord always before me; because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved." David is saying that God is his Source of strength and because this Source is so powerful, it does not matter what the world does, the Hand of God will hold him steadfast and sure. • Because God is my Strength, no matter what happens, I’ll consistently praise Him. • Because He is my Source, I’ll consistently live in peace. • Because He is my Refuge, I’ll be filled with joy. And when the world sees my joy - the world who is running this way and that way - will want to know the Source of my consistency. If you want every day to be the best day of your life...
