THE AGE OF THE GOSPEL
 

A - ...All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).

T - The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to usward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).
U - ...Unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord (Luke 2:11).
V - Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth My Word, and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life (John 5:24).
W - Who His own Self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto right-eousness: by whose stripes ye were healed (1 Peter 2:24).
X - …Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God (John 3:3).
Y - …Ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of Him Who hath called you out of darkness into His marvellous light (1 Peter 2:9).
