On 1 September 2017, Vladimir Putin addressed a group of students in Yaroslavl, Russia. Speaking of the future, Putin said the development of artificial intelligence (AI) presents "colossal opportunities and threats that are difficult to predict now" and "the one who becomes the leader in this sphere will be the ruler of the world." That's quite a statement coming from the leader of one of the world's greatest powers. But regardless of whether or not you agree, this is a major story. In fact, it should be one of the biggest headline stories in years. Why? Because Putin, undisputed leader of Russia, a man who controls 7 000 nuclear warheads, made a public admission overlooked by almost every media outlet in the world. The nation that first develops AI and molecular manufacturing will have an enormous military advantage over the rest of the world. This nation will have two choices. It can sit on its advantage until other nations catch up. Or it can use its advantage to conquer other nations. It will choose the second option! So it is inevitable that the leading nation will use its advantage to set up a global empire. Putin knows this. That's why he said, "the one who becomes the leader in this sphere will be the ruler of the world." I'm sure Putin imagines he will win the race and establish a world empire for himself. But regardless of who wins, the leading nation will draw the same conclusion - global government and rulership is the only available course of action. WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS
Those who study Bible prophecy have long known what the Bible predicts for the end times. The Bible says that a global empire will exist, one that rules every person on Earth (Rev. 13:7). This empire will crush and devour the whole world (Daniel 7:23). And when it does, it will control almost every aspect of human life - to the point of determining "who can buy and who can sell" (Rev. 13:17).Putin knows that the future leader in AI will set up this global empire. Other world leaders know it too. It is a race among world governments. The end result will be a worldwide police state with unprecedented power (Rev. 13:17). It's just one more sign of the times. JESUS IS COMING!
o - o - o The Church of England's membership is now declining so swiftly and steadily that it can hardly be considered anything less than a death spiral as millions drop out of the ranks of the faithful. Across all age groups, a total of only 15% of British claim Anglican Christianity as their religion, down from 30% in the year 2000. But even more striking is the gap between the age cohorts. Only a scant 3% of the young adult population between the ages of 18 and 24 identify as Anglican, as compared to as many as 40% of those over the age of 75. The implication is that the congregations will soon be dying from advanced age and there will be few from the next generation to replace them in the pews. The abandonment of the Anglican Church has also given rise to a phenomenon known as secular congregations. These are regular gatherings of people who yearn for the sense of connection and community support without having to believe in any religion or form of spirituality. In another generation, the Church of England will have virtually faded from the public eye as it hangs on with only a fraction of a percent of the population. After that, it will be gone entirely if nothing is done to reverse this death spiral. This is truly how religions are extinguished in the modern age: not by a bloody holy war or continentburning jihad, but by the quicksand of secular apathy. o - o - o The march toward a cashless society has now moved from the theoretical to the phase of widespread adoption. This is primarily due to developments in the tech sector that now enable the easy use of biometric recognition systems, as well as the increasing acceptance from a public who is becoming familiar with turning themselves into a password for their personal devices. Behind the scenes, governments and corporations have been building the political and economic enticements via the Better Than Cash Alliance to ensure that the world eventually gets "de-cashed." We're now witnessing the full roll-out of an architecture that has been in development for many years. Well, today's cashless agenda news does come from the West, and it's a world's first. As reported by The Telegraph, London's Costcutter Supermarket has announced that its shoppers can now pay by finger vein scan. It works by using infrared to scan people's finger veins and then links this unique biometric map to their bank cards. Customers' bank details are then stored with payment provider Worldpay, in the same way you can store your card details when shopping online. Shoppers can then turn up to the supermarket with nothing on them but their own hands and use it to make payments in just three seconds! http://www.prophecynewswatch.com/article.cfm?recent_news_id=1611#Se89OdUkERyEwqqc.99 |
