PRAISE RELEASES BLESSINGS AND FULFILMENT

She entered into marriage with Jacob who did not love her. We all want someone in our lives that will affirm and love us unconditionally. PLEASE LOOK AT ME! Genesis 29:31 - "When the Lord saw that Leah was unloved He opened her womb; but Rachel was barren." Leah bore Jacob a son and named him Reuben which means "LOOK AT ME". She hoped by giving him a son he would begin to love her. Genesis 29:32 - "So Leah conceived and bore a son, and she called his name Reuben; for she said, ‘The Lord has surely looked on my affliction. Now therefore, my husband will love me.’" But he didn’t. When a man spends too much time on other things and ignores his wife, her self-esteem is crushed. Many marriages are suffering today through lack of attention and affection. Genesis 29:33 - "Then she conceived again and bore a son, and said, ‘Because the Lord has heard that I am unloved, He has therefore given me this son also.’And she called his name Simeon." Simeon means "TO HEAR". She was crying out to Jacob, "Would you listen to me? Will you consider my opinions and feelings?" Genesis 29:34 - "She conceived again and bore a son, and said, ‘Now this time my husband will become attached to me, because I have borne him three sons.’ Therefore his name was called Levi". Levi means "TO BE JOINED TO". She never felt as if Jacob had ever really been intimate with her. Genesis 29:35 - "And she conceived again and bore a son, and said, ‘Now I will praise the Lord.’ Therefore she called his name Judah." Leah gave birth to a fourth son and named him Judah which means "LET JEHOVAH BE PRAISED". Leah finally came to the conclusion and said, "If you won’t look at me, listen to me or be joined to me, then I will find my fulfilment in the Lord." GOD WILL SEE ME. GOD WILL HEAR ME. GOD WILL BE PRESENT WITH ME FOR HE WILL MAKE ME WHOLE. PRAISE releases blessings and fulfilment! Psalm 63:3 - "Because Your loving kindness is better than life, my lips shall PRAISE YOU." David says in verse 5, "My soul will be satisfied as with the richest of foods; with singing lips my mouth will PRAISE YOU." If you are not feeling well, PRAISE THE LORD. When you receive evil tidings, PRAISE THE LORD. If there is a lack of finances, PRAISE THE LORD, for you will experience a wonderful release from anxiety when you PRAISE THE LORD. You restore your true identity, for the more you understand Who God is and how rich and overflowing His love, the more you see how valuable you are to Him!
