ANGUS BUCHAN IS COMING TO POTCHEFSTROOM

On Saturday 20 October 2007, Angus Buchan will be ministering at Olënpark Stadium, Potchefstroom, at 14:00. He has become a household name in South Africa. Having sold his land in Zambia to relocate to KwaZulu-Natal with his family in the 1970s, this farmer of Scottish descent faced many challenges. He also experienced various miracles, some of which are portrayed in the Regardt van den Berg film "Faith like Potatoes", starring Frank Rautenbach as Angus. The film has taken South Africa by storm and has been seen by over 355 000 people to date.
Angus is a man of faith and has encouraged thousands of believers to trust God for the impossible.
Starting out as a "Farmer for Jesus", he began preaching to his farm workers and the surrounding farmers. Since then God has called him to preach the Gospel from Cape Town to Jerusalem.
Miracles have become synonymous with his name as the power of God is released through his simple but unshakeable faith in God.
He recently started the "Mighty Men Conferences" on his farm. During the 2007 Conference 7 000 men attended, 2 000 more than expected. Instead of buying more food for the extra 2 000 men, Angus was challenged to trust God to multiply the food. Miraculously 12 "baskets" of food was left over after each meal just as in Biblical times. The adjacent photo shows a shaft of light coming down from heaven, descending upon the tent and spreading out over it - the Shekinah glory of God!

The Olënpark event promises to be a fantastic occasion for the whole region, including 13 surrounding towns! All churches are invited to participate in this event. For more information, contact Pastor Anton Myburgh at (018) 293 1608.
