WHO BUT AN AWESOME GOD CAN CREATE BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS LIKE THESE?

The Flower of the Holy Spirit is Panama's national flower. Being a rare orchid originally from the Central America and Colombia Eco-systems, it grows in warm climates and there are a few different species. Its scientific name is Peristeria Elata. It blooms between July and October and is not easy to cultivate. Inside of the white cup is a perfectly shaped dove (below), hence the name "Flor del Espiruto Santo". The wings of the dove have reddish-purple spots on its surface. The flowers are very fragrant and long lasting, especially, since the flowers don't all open at the same time, but continue opening over a long period of time (2 - 3 months). This orchid is also known as the "dove flower" as it resembles a flock of doves in flight. The Holy Ghost Orchid is one of many orchids that can be found in its habitat. The Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora has designated the Holy Ghost Orchid as a threatened species, mostly due to over collection in its native habitat of Panama, Costa Rica, Colombia, and Ecuador. During the rainy season, prompted by long days of sunlight the orchid comes alive and starts its growing and blooming phase. Before it blooms, it looks like praying saints (top right), but when the flower starts to bloom (during the Pentecostal period), it looks like a flying dove!

The Columbine flower (bottom right) is a symbol of the Holy Spirit, derived from the latin word Columba meaning "dove". The flower is named for its dove-shaped petals that resemble a dove in flight.

ISN'T IT AWESOME THE MANY WAYS IN HIS BEAUTIFUL CREATION OUR GOD ATTEMPTS TO REVEAL HIMSELF TO US? CAN YOU REALLY, AFTER SEEING THESE FLOWERS, SAY THERE IS NO GOD?
