“For thus saith the Lord God, My people went
down aforetime into Egypt to sojourn there; and
the Assyrians oppressed them without cause.”
(Isaiah 52:4).
The Amplified Bible adds, “Now I have delivered
you from both Egypt and Assyria; what then can
prevent Me from delivering you from Babylon?”
When I was fifteen years old, I broke my shoulder
in five places, and the doctor in Parry Sound
Hospital put a brace on me, and put my arm in a
sling. I was supposed to wear that hack brace for
six months.
Seven days later I was in church and a man came
into the service and said, “Someone is receiving
healing in his shoulder now.” He didn't know me,
and I didn’t know that person, and have never
seen him since. I took off my sling. Even though I
was a little cynical, I started to move my arm. My
arm was healed! I went into the rest-room and
took the back brace off and the next day I was
waterskiing! One year later, Zachary was

from ‘Babylon’?
After our son Zachary was born, we were leaving
the hospital, very excited to take our new baby
home. Then the doctors stopped us. They would
not release the baby as they had detected an
abnormality in Zachary’s heart.
He went through a battery of tests. The doctor
sat us down and started to go through the
findings.
Our precious little boy had two holes in his heart
and an irregular heart beat. The doctor went
through what all of this would mean - possible
surgeries, medication for the rest of his life and
on and on.
We cried. Like David, our hearts would have
failed for fear, but then we remembered our God!
We started to declare health over Zachary and
wholeness to his heart.
In the face of tests, doctors’ appointments and
bad reports, we continued to declare total health
and wholeness over our son.
