P. 4
When Satan attacks you with:
Doubt, God says “And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall
drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind” (Luke 12:29).
Defeat, God says “Yet amid all these things we are more than
conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved
us” (Romans 8:37).
Despondency, God says “Rejoice in the Lord always [delight,
gladden yourselves in Him]; again I say, Rejoice!” (Philippians 4:4).
Disease, God says “Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord,
O my soul, and forget not [one of] all His benefits - Who forgives
[every one of] all your iniquities, Who heals [each one of] all your
diseases, Who redeems your life from the pit and corruption, Who
beautifies, dignifies, and crowns you with loving-kindness and tender
mercy” (Psalm 103:2-4).
Discouragement, God says “Behold, the Lord your God has set the
land before you; go up and possess it, as the Lord, the God of your
fathers, has said to you. Fear not, neither be dismayed” (Deut. 1:21).
Distress, God says “What then shall we say to [all] this? If God is for
us, who [can be] against us?” (Romans 8:31). “Who can be our foe, if
God is on our side?” (Ps. 118:6.).
Debt, God says “And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your
every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus”
(Philippians 4:19).
Disheartenment, God says “Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He
will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart” (Psalm
37:4).
Desolation, God says “The LORD redeemeth the soul of His
servants: and none of them that trust in Him shall be desolate”
(Psalm 34:22).
Destruction, God says “The thief comes only in order to steal and kill
and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in
abundance (to the full, till it overflows)” (John 10:10).
Devouring, God says “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary
the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may
devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same
sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world”
(1 Peter 5:8,9).
Disappointment, God says “And we know that all things work
together for good to them that love God, to them who are called
according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28).
Dishonesty, God says “…as we have received mercy, we faint not; but
have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in
craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by
manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's
conscience in the sight of God” (2 Corinthians 4:2).
Dissension, God says “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for
brethren to dwell together in unity!” (Psalm 133:1).
Detect the devil's devices and resist him in JESUS' NAME, using
the SWORD OF THE SPIRIT, the WORD OF GOD, and he will
flee!
